Adviser Assessment

Professional Judgement, Numerical & Verbal Reasoning — a structured online assessment for candidates applying to join the Bridgehaven Wealth Management advisory team. Two papers are used: a New Adviser assessment of 10 questions in 15 minutes, and an Experienced Adviser assessment of 10 questions in 20 minutes.

How the assessment works

Part A

Part A · Numerical Reasoning

This section assesses your ability to interpret numerical data, perform financial calculations and apply quantitative reasoning to wealth management scenarios. Calculators are permitted in this section, and you should show your working in the space provided.

Part B

Part B · Professional Judgement & Ethics

This section assesses integrity, transparency, risk handling and client-focused decision-making. For scenario questions, answer in full sentences and explain your reasoning.

Timing

One timed sitting

The paper is completed in a single sitting of 15 minutes (New Adviser) or 20 minutes (Experienced Adviser), with a countdown on screen and a gentle reminder when five minutes remain.

Candidates

Your assessment is accessed via a private, single-use link sent to you by our recruitment team; there is no public sign-up. Each paper contains 10 questions — numerical calculations where you should show your working, multiple-choice ethics scenarios, and written scenario responses. Calculators are permitted for the numerical section only, and there is no penalty for incorrect answers, so please attempt every question.
